Jennifer Konfrst is the first IA-03 Candidate to Visit all 21 Counties in District
Konfrst gaining momentum as more Iowa leaders join her campaign
Windsor Heights, IA - Today, candidate for Congress Jennifer Konfrst announced she has visited all 21 counties that make up Iowa’s Third Congressional District, the first candidate on either side of the aisle to do so this cycle. This comes on the heels of Konfrst winning the Iowa Straw Poll and continuing to consolidate support among Iowa leaders, receiving the endorsement of former Congressman Dave Loebsack and 40+ other elected leaders across the Hawkeye State.
“As a proud daughter of Iowa, there’s been nothing more energizing than getting out to every corner of my hometown district to hear directly from other working Iowans. We’re worried about the rising cost of groceries, rent, and healthcare. We’re holding our breath to see the impact this Big Billionaire Bill will have on our rural hospitals and our healthcare premiums. And through it all, we are ready to fight back and win this race for Iowa. That’s the fight I’m taking to Congress.
“While Zach Nunn fights for his billionaire donors, I’ll fight for the working Iowans of this district who made me who I am. While Zach Nunn rips away healthcare from over 100,000 Iowas, I’ll fight to protect it and lower premiums for families like mine struggling to pay the bills. I’ll never forget where I came from, and I’m in it to win it for Iowa.”
Highlights from Konfrsts’ travels across the district include stops in her home town of Johnston, Mount Ayr, Nodaway, and rallying with nurses at UnityPoint fighting for a union.
In his endorsement of Konfrst, former Congressman Loebsack stated, “I have known Jennifer since she first ran for the Iowa Legislature in 2018. She is a tough, committed leader who knows how to take on Zach Nunn and, once elected, work tirelessly for her constituents and make sure they, not special interests, are served by their congresswoman. I am proud to endorse Jennifer and will do all I can to make sure she wins in 2026.”
